today

Fuck me, what a day. Technically a day I guess, even though I have slept for four hours between now and midnight. Anyway, today I broke even.

It all started at 22:22 last night. Which I guess is 10:22 pm.  This screenshot below actually captures the sentiment of the evening pretty well.

Essentially just a 3000 hand struggle to break even.

The bad news is, my sleep schedule is fucked. On the other hand, I am still sleeping.

Also, I managed to repeat my 4 hr 2000 hand session from yesterday. Technically that was 01/19 2.42 am start and then 'today' my 4 hour session was 01/19 10:22 pm start. But whatever. I slept for like 4-5 hours before the 10 pm session, and then for another 4 or 5 hours after it. Roughly. Too many caffeine pills maybe.

Bottom line, 6255 hands in the last 30 hours. That's pretty good.

Account balances :

BO : 1618.70

PS : 81.50

Total 1700, +630 usd.

I was able to play 12 tables pretty well. It's definitely a challenge that requires my full attention, and can be quite draining. OTOH I did 6 tables earlier but lost interest. Or maybe I was just tired, I did fall asleep after that.

My last session was great. 1:14 and basically just won $45 straight I think over an hour. Running really good.

Here was the biggest hand I lost:

Hand History driven straight to this forum with DriveHUD Poker Tracking Software - http://drivehud.com

Dealt to Hero: A♠ 8 J T♠

UTG Folds, HJ Raises To $0.50, CO Calls $0.40, BTN Folds, SB Calls $0.45, HERO Raises To $2.55, HJ Folds, CO Calls $2.05, SB Calls $2.05

HJ, who ends up being irrelevant, is a lag. I've got him opening 27% of hands from MP. Both the callers are whales. We are actually pushing quite a bit of equity here multiway against loose ranges:

Hero SPR on Flop: [0.9 effective]

Flop ($8.20): 7d Tc Ks

SB Bets $7.63 (Rem. Stack: $19.47), HERO Raises To $14.85 (allin), CO Calls $7.40 (allin), SB Calls $7.22 (Rem. Stack: $12.25)

With an SPR of 1 and 2, we are somewhat happy with this flop. We've got a pair and a double gutshot, although the 9 might not be good. We also have backdoor spades. We expect to be pretty ahead against two wide ranges, although with SB donking out we have no chance of winning unimproved.

CO shows: 4c Kd Qh Kc

SB shows: 7s 2d 7h 2c

We actually end up against two sets. Which is both fortunate, in that they are blocking each other's outs, and unfortunate, in that we don't have tremendous equity, and are a decent dog in the substantial side pot.

Turn ($45.30): 7d Tc Ks Th

River ($45.30): 7d Tc Ks Th 4h

Players agreed to run it 2 times.

Turn #2($45.30): 7d Tc Ks 4s

River #2($45.30): 7d Tc Ks 4s 8d

We run it twice and get scooped.

CO wins: $28.70

SB wins: $14.90
